Out Of Sink
Here is a short film I made in September
2008 for the Raindance Film Festival's 'Short Circuit' Competition (I didn't win, but never mind). The competition
only had one rule - films must be no longer than 60 seconds. With limited resources and armed only with the weapon of imagination,
I made this short film in my bathroom one morning.
It's basically a sketch about a guy doing
his usual bathroom mirror routine, except the sound is delayed so that the sound of one action plays over another action.
I think it's quite funny - see for yourself below.
Fake
I edited this next short film, but it was
actually written and directed by my friend Josh, who was my co-star in my debut film 'Take' (this didn't win either,
but never mind). Once I told him about the competition he wanted to make an entry of his own, so he came up with this
simple idea of two friends who act nice on the surface but their thoughts reveal what they really think of each other. We
shot it in my room and I quite like the way it came out.
Multiplayer
This
is a short film I made back in 2009 - like 'Fake' it was shot in my room. It's basically a quirky comedy short
about three incredibly similar-looking guys discussing pizza and video games during a quiet night in. I did practically everything
on this short, although Josh and my parents did help with the camerawork. It was quite a chore planning out every shot and
timing some of the lines, and it was painstaking to edit, but I'm very pleased with the result. I hope you enjoy it.
'Multiplayer'
had it's festival debut at the Zero Film Festival in December 2009.
